This is a 30 minute Zoom call, to discuss what you’re trying to achieve and get to know each other a bit to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
After our discovery call, I’ll send you an email within 24 hours with a ballpark estimate and timeframe for your project, based on previous work I’ve completed and your goals.
We’ll start the discovery phase with a longer in depth call and some pre-questionnaires so we can dive deep into your project’s requirements.
On the call we’ll review everything from must-have features and overall scope to the structure, required materials, legalities, and the main success metrics to ensure your project is a success.
The discovery phase is a paid service that you will be billed for in advance and is non-refundable. The amount will be deducted from your final project cost.
Following our detailed planning session, I’ll create a comprehensive proposal for you.
This document will outline the project deliverables, the phases of work involved, a final cost and breakdown of the payment milestones along with a projected timeline for completion.
The discovery phase is complete and you’ve approved the final proposal.
Here you’ll be billed a 50% project deposit, payable before the kickoff call.
During the kickoff call we’ll do a final review of the project plan, answer any last minute questions and ensure all the content and copy is available as we step into the next phase of the project.
Our approach to the design and development phase is organized, systematic and iterative. This means we’ll be in touch–a lot! You will know exactly what’s happening on any given day of the week.
Smooth and timely communication will keep this phase on track.
At this time we invite you to review the website pages and provide feedback. This essential step ensures that the final product aligns perfectly with your expectations and needs.
After you’ve approved all the site pages, we’ll begin our thorough testing and quality checks.
This stage lasts about 2-3 days and involves conducting numerous different tests to guarantee that your website lives up to our high-quality benchmarks.
Before your website goes live you will be billed the remaining balance of your project cost based on your specific milestones, and payment is due immediately.
After your payment is received, we’ll launch it on your branded domain.
Following the launch, we’ll conduct another round of quality checks to ensure everything is running smoothly.
Plus, you’ll have a 30-day window to request any final tweaks or modifications.
The final ingredient to ensuring your website’s success lies in its ongoing care and maintenance.
We offer comprehensive website care plans to handle this for you.
Alternatively, if you prefer a more hands-on approach, we also provide you with a detailed guide to managing your website on your own.
